About.

Kimra was raised in the Joplin, MO area and started writing music at 14 when she taught herself to play guitar.

"I've loved music for as long as I can remember and grew up listening to country. I loved writing poems growing up, but it wasn't until I started playing guitar that I started writing my own songs. I was so afraid to share these songs with the world and very shy when it came to singing in front of people. As an adult I grew more comfortable and eventually started doing open mic night once a week at a place in my hometown."

Kimra connected with Winter Records in Nashville, TN who were very interested in her unique writing style & voice, that stood out against others in the industry. In December 2014 she recorded/released her first 3 song EP, then went on to record/release her first album "Forgive & Forget" in May 2016 and recorded her 2nd album "Songs for You" in October 2017, which released March 2018.

"I'm thankful for the opportunities I've had and the people I have met along the way. I'm so happy to be able to share my music with the world and I know God put me on this earth to affect people in the most positive way that I can...and I'm blessed that it can be through my music."

Kimra has accomplished a lot the past 9 years with her music. She has booked numerous shows in the 4 state area as well as in Nashville, TN. She also competed in 2018's Nash Next Competition in Columbia, MO.

Kimra has opened for Mike Ryan, Bart Crow, Bo Phillips Band, Sam Riggs just to name a few.

In 2016 for The Zerkapalooza Music Festival she played alongside other artists including Lanco.

Kimra's first music video was recorded in the summer of 2017 for her single off her first EP "In my Little Town." She recorded her second music video in 2018 for "Forgive & Forget" and her 3rd music video "Good Life" in 2020.
